The movie is about how Leatherface as a teenager ran away from a mental institution with three other patients only to be haunted by a deranged cop who chases them in a haunt for vengeance.

The plot sounds equally violent and disturbing on level with the other movies in the franchise. The movie is the eigtht installment in the franchise and with a whole new set of faces on and off the camera it’s hard to predict exactly what we can expect of it. Although we’d be surprised if it isn’t significantly better than it’s predecessor Texas Chainsaw 3D which did well commercially but was torn down by both critics and fans of the franchise.

Hopefully the movie will surpass The Ring Two’s (2005) which was widely regarded as a disappointing sequel to the original which was so groundbreaking and innovative. Cast: Natalie Dormer, Taylor Kinney, Yukiyoshi Ozawa

The story is about a place referred to a “The Suicidie Forest”, a place in the northwest part of Mount Fuji in Japan, about 35-square-kilometers of ground. The comes from it’s reputation as a common suicide site. The movie itself however is about demons which has to do with local mythologies about demons residing in the area.

It’s limited how much there is to say about the movie from the trailer, but it should be enough to build up interest and if the movie is done right, this movie might just be a must-see for 2016.

The night becomes a race to escape for the family, as the masked killers take new pleasure in tormenting their victims in this twisted sequel that picks up where the original’s bloody footprints leave off.

No actors have yet to be mentioned other than Liv Tyler from the first movie, although she’s only in as a supporting actor and it hasn’t been confirmed. And it still isn’t confirmed if Marcel Langenegger who directed the first movie, is going to direct the sequel. But with the succes of the first movie in mind, it’s hard not to get a hard when imagining how a sequel with the three masked murderes could be.
